Imagining the developments of smartphones but it seems that I’m a bit slow and steady on the update. Recent innovations in mobile technology has enabled the users to do a lot with their smartphones. Now it’s another turn for the smartphone users. A company called Logic Wireless has developed a prototype of projector phone, according to the PC Mag. Logicbolt2, a successor to a previous attempt of projector phone is on it’s way with quad band GSM functionality enrihed with QVGA (320 x 240) touchscreen and an integrated projector with VGA (640 x 480) resolution. It has also got a sneak 3 megapixel camera and an expandible microSD card slot.

Portables are becoming ultra portable as the consumer market is seeking more and more smaller devices. Asus, HP and many other device manufacturers are designing UMPCs. So what about a PC that will fit on your wrist? You may be imagining such a gadget that will let you browse the internet or listen to music on the go while bothering! you with a little weight, as little as 23 ounces!

i’m talking about the Zypad WR1100, a wrist computer featuring a 640×480 touchscreen display with connectivity options like wifi and bluetooth. Also hot features like gps reciever and fingerprint sensor all equipped with a Linux.

May be the device is not the prettiest but remember, it’s just the beginning, i think.

Earlier this year, nokia has launched the already very popular 5800 XpressMusic. Nokia has introduced the touchscreen technology for the first time wheras Sony Erricsson and many other competitors had touch screen from ages ago.

So, why is such a long delay in delivering the technology? Did Nokia had a master plan? Over the year Nokia has enhanced the Symbian Operating System. And now it seems that it has grown as a giant competitor of other mobile operating platforms. Since the launching of Nokia’s nSeries smartphones, Symbian OS is becoming increasingly popular among the mobile users for its easy usability and great features. Now, when all the already known features are in a great package like the 5800 xpressmusic, it has become the craze.

Wow! I have been busy and away from the Nokia updates and I’ve missed a lot. Now when I come back I am really amazed to know that about a month ago Nokia has revealed its smallest Bluetooth headset BH-804. It has a genuine aluminum case, slim lines with cutting edge technology; but what makes it more attractive is its compact size which makes it a stylish accessory to any mobile device supporting bluetooth headset specifications.

It offers superior audio quality and the latest audio features that includes digital signal processing (DSP) for background noise cancellation with the use of which users can have a crisp, clear conversations while on the go. The Nokia Bluetooth Headset BH-804 has two user-friendly buttons making managing basic call functions and volume level easy.

Well, It’s really difficult to understand the ‘HTC’ behaviour. While HTC has kept their track on the ever-expanding mobile internet industry with its devices, they are at the same time, re-defining the text. Without communication what is a smartphone? Other than talking or surfing, HTC S740 offers a highly appreciable key-control to provide an comfortable experience with writing on mobile phones.

S740, which has been available in the market since the end of August this year, has been designed to meet the text messaging needs (like short-messages or email) of the consumers. HTC S740 - Released in August 2008

HTC S740 inhibits a Qualcomm 528MHz processor that operates on Windows Mobile platform with its 256 MB RAM. Other features are just good. I just wish that the display could be a little more larger rather than the 2.4 inch with only a QVGA resolution. Also, a better Camera could make it more attractive to those who also love multimedia and web.

HTC has announced thier latest HTC TOUCH HD, the smart computer with a Large, 3.8 inch wide-screen VGA touch display of 480 x 800 resolution which is designed to perform the extensive multimedia display with its Qualcomm® MSM7201a™ 528 MHz processor and 288 MB RAM. For the lovers of multimedia, there is a standard 3.5mm audio jack to reach the music fans and a 5 megapixel auto-focus camera to enhance the photography.

Today, Sonyericsson has finally announced the launch of the fascinating mobile computer XPERIA X1 on 30th September this year. Disappointing the consumer around the world this entertainment and web technology powerhouse will be initially launched in Germany, Sweden and only. So, the people in the other parts of the world is scheduled to launch by the fourth quarter of 2008.

Samsung introduced B2700 which is a new mobile that features performace and robust durability for outdoor usage. With a body made of anti-shock urethane material, the B2700 is built to save itself from the bumps, bangs, scrapes, scuffs and will also prevent dust and water in line with IP54.
